We believe we are selling a retail product to our customers. We are not in the real estate business, but rather in the sales business. The managers are taught that they are in charge of a store, not a site. We have customers, not tenants, and we are not landlords, but retailers. Finally, the managers are taught that customer service must be obvious.
It is easy to clean a door when the customer is gone, but what would be the impact if it were cleaned while the customer was there to watch? ? The people at the counter are critical to every element of success. Therefore, our #1 priority is to manage, train and continually monitor our people to make sure that they not only have the tools, but the unquestionable ability to be true professionals at their craft. ?
