Payroll
Calculate pay (hourly, salary, commission, others), write checks, enter pay stubs; offer direct deposit at no additional charge; prepare payroll taxes – Federal Forms 940 and 941 for federal unemployment, federal income withholding, social security and Medicare; State unemployment, and state income withholding. Prepare W2’s as necessary at year-end.
Maintain vendor database; Collect W9 certificates; Record invoices, reconcile invoices with statements, pay bills; issue checks for signature and mailing; prepare 1099’s as necessary at year-end.Maintain customer database; Invoicing and statements; Adding service charges as applicable and perform light collections; Making and entering all deposits. Researching payment disputes.
Manage personal (if requested) and business checking accounts and credit cards; Online banking; Bank reconciliation; Credit card reconciliations.Business Management
Account setup, maintenance and backup; Sales tax, Use tax and Property tax form preparation.
